Join the crew

One short form. Say yes, and you light your own sword for the arch, get a crew pass with your name on it, and find your seat under the dome.

The manifest

Will you come up the mountain?

This is a design study: your reply is saved only in this browser. Reset this demo, under “Design study” at the top of the page, clears it.

Can you come?

Saturday 16 October 2027, the vows at 5:30 PM, at Bantay-Bituin Observatory.

Only so Vega and Orin can send the shuttle stop’s address the week before.

Light your sword

Your place in the arch

Every yes raises a sword in the arch: 34 so far. Reply yes, and yours stands at the front, in the colour of a star you choose.

Until you reply yes, it stands there only while you look. Reply, and it stays.

Your crew pass

Show it at the shuttle

A design study, not a real ticket

This is a sample. Reply yes above, and yours appears with your name, your seat and your blade.

Here it is, friend. Save it to your phone and show it at the shuttle.

You sent your regrets, so there is no pass to show. If your plans change, change your reply.

The pattern on the pass is an ornament made from your name. Nobody will scan it.

Under the dome

Your seat at the feast

Choose any table to see who is at it. Reply yes and your own is marked, with your walk in from the dome door.

Bantay-Bituin is invented, so this dome is too: a round room 14 metres across, stated in the site’s own data. The tables stand where the data puts them, the chairs are spaced evenly, and every distance is measured, not typed.
