One roof, the whole evening

Nadine and Rafael are getting married on a roof above the city, and they would like you there from the vows at golden hour to the last song.

The ceremony and the party are both up on the roof, so once you are up, you are up. Black tie, in black and gold if you like.

Their story, by floor

Going up

  1. The same lobby, from 2018

    One office tower, one lift at ten past eight. For a year they nodded at each other and never spoke.

  2. Her floor

    Nadine got off on the twelfth floor every morning. Rafael rode on to the twenty-eighth.

  3. Where the lift stopped

    A brownout in August 2019 held them between nineteen and twenty for forty minutes. They talked for all forty.

    He asked her up there in December 2024, at the window where the city looks best at night.
